Adaptive Micro Learning

Innovatively putting forward the theory of using data science and computational intelligence to support learning in fragmented time pieces, our novel technologies and applications in micro learning have leveraged the service oriented architecture  to propose and consolidate an intelligent education system, MLaaS (Micro Learning as a Service), to deliver smart and personalised open/private education resources to learners in modern mobile environments, where people spend many hours on mobile devices every day. It has immediately attracted worldwide attention as it has addressed a very important technical challenge in modern society and education systems: utilization of individual’s fragmented and ‘less engaged’ time for better learning. Hence, we have been approached by many start-ups to explore further commercialization and collaboration opportunities.

The founders of Vermilion have been frequently invited by leading and regional universities in China, and academic/business events all around the word, to give talk on how to make use of intelligent system and advance learning technologies to overcome the obstacles in the adaptive learning resource delivery, especially in regional universities, in order to make up the imbalance in higher education between developed and developing countries/areas.

Our future R&D can continuously benefit e-learning development in Australia in both education and industry sectors. We are not on a mission but we are dedicated to ensure the adaptive micro learning can bring the light of open educational resource to shine on lower developed countries/areas identically.
